“Hi my name is Ruby. I am a cheerleader for the EM/SEM Jets. This is my third year with this program. Cheer is special to me because I make new friends every year. It helps me be more confident and helps me do good with school work because my coaches always remind me that school is the most important thing. I hope to be a good cheerleader until I age out of the program and become a high school cheerleader. Thank you for this opportunity!”

“My love for football started when my mom signed me up to play tackle football for a Jr. Gremlin team. I had finally found a sport where I could be myself and have a chance to tackle other kids without getting in trouble. Then as I got better at it, I loved football even more. I learned I had a great gift and was able to share it with my teammates to help win some games……..I want to be able to continue to play football and be able to help another team have some wins. Eventually, once I graduate from high school, I want to give back to my community and hopefully join the coaching staff for the Jets and maybe help make a difference in a kid’s life just like my coaches had a great impact on mine. ”
